SARSO Members
National Standardization Bodies (NSB) of seven South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Member States and Ministry of Economic Development, Republic of Maldives are the National Members of South Asian Regional Standards Organization (SARSO). There is one Member per country.
All National Members of SAARC Member States are Member of the Governing Board of SARSO and ensure to take part in all technical works of SARSO. It is the responsibility of the SARSO National Members to implement SAARC Standards as National Standards.
For SAARC to emerge as a single market and to strengthen the trade position of the region with reference to the global supply chain, SAARC Member States have an obligation to adopt as National Standards and shall be responsible for implementing the SAARC Standards.
