Harmonization of Regional Standardization works on Food and Agricultural Products was started from the fifth meeting of SAARC Standards and Coordination Board (SSCB) held on 24-25 June, 2009 at Kathmandu, Nepal. Initially, the SSCB discussed on selected item i.e. Sugar, Biscuits, Skimmed Milk Powder, Vegetable Ghee and Instant Noodles.
